Primrose Lane is a vibrant and happy learning community with over 200 children aged from 3-11. Our school is set in extensive and beautiful grounds close to the centre of Boston Spa, an attractive village located in a rural setting on the outskirts of the City of Leeds. We are proud of our reputation as a caring and successful school, focused on learning and individual achievement. As soon as a child joins our school we work hard to get to know them well and provide them with the best education possible, helping to nurture and develop them as individuals.
If your child is unable to attend school or nursery for any reason, please telephone the school office to let us know. If your child has sickness or diarrhoea, we ask that he/she does not return to school for 48 hours as this kind of illness can be very infectious.
The Department for Education has commissioned the NSPCC to establish a dedicated independent helpline for people who have experienced sexual abuse in an educational setting.
Our Headteacher Mrs Holmes writes a weekly newsletter, which includes all sorts of news and items about school life. If you want to find out what’s happening at Primrose Lane then download our latest newsletter here.
Our home learning provision for pupils who need to self-isolate at home, or because their school 'bubble' has burst and all the pupils in a class need to stay at home as a precaution.
We aim to keep you as up to date as we possibly can and appreciate all your support at this difficult time. Information and links to key documents regarding Covid-19 and school organisation are available here.
